Dr. Huy earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at California State University, Fullerton, a Masters in Psychology at Pepperdine University, a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology at California School of Professional Psychology.

She completed a Predoctoral Internship specializing in Neuropsychology at Little Rock, Arkansas Veteran's Hospital and completed a 2 year Post-Doctorate Fellowship training in Neuropsychology at University of California, Los Angeles (U.C.L.A.).

Dr. Huy has spent her career working alongside children and adults. She has worked in outpatient clinics, university medical centers (U.C.L.A., V.A)  and rehabilitative hospitals serving individuals of all ages with a host of symptoms and conditions (i.e., depression, anxiety, neurodevelopmental disorders {learning disorders,ADHD}, traumatic brain injury, strokes, brain tumors, dementia, and HIV/AIDS).

Dr. Huy has extensive experience working as a valued multidisciplinary team member alongside psychiatry, neurology, immunology, and oncology. Through her private practice she continues to work collegially with other mental health practitioners, physicians and legal counsel.  In addition to her private practice, Dr. Huy is a Clinical Professor at Pepperdine University where she teaches graduate psychology courses and serves as Assistant Director in the Online Psychology Program.
