Dr. Huy has extensive experience working with both children and adults. Early in her career she substitute taught at the junior high and high school level as well as worked as an elementary school counselor. After completing her bachelor's degree she earned her first Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. It was during this time that her passion for Neuropsychology flourished. Dr. Huy went on to earn another Masters and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology specializing in Neuropsychology. During her graduate studies she trained and worked in university medical centers (U.C.L.A., U.C.I., & V.A.) and rehabilitative hospitals serving individuals of all ages with a host of symptoms and conditions (i.e., prenatal drug exposure, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, strokes, brain tumors, dementia, anoxia, and HIV/AIDS).
Dr. Huy has extensive experience working as a valued multidisciplinary team member alongside psychiatry, neurology, immunology, and oncology. Through her private practice she continues to work collegially with other mental health practitioners, physicians and educators. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Huy also is a professor at Pepperdine University.
